In Virginia, if you are a resident, you must file the petition for firearm rights restoration in the circuit court of the jurisdiction where you reside. If you are a non-resident, you file in the circuit court where you were last convicted.
If you have never been convicted of a felony on a state of federal level your fire arm rights should be intact.
